Sports ladders are offered in a variety of sports at Camp. Including, but not limited to:

• Basketball “P-I-G”: Men, Women, Boys, and Girls

• Basketball Free Throws: Men, Women, Boys, and Girls

• Chess: Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginners (any age)

• Cribbage: Singles and Doubles (need to know the rules, any age)

• Foosball: Singles and Doubles (any age)

• Horseshoe Doubles: Men, Women, and Mixed

• Naps (by total minutes)

• Pickleball Doubles: Men, Women, and Mixed

• Ping Pong: Men, Women, Boys, and Girls

• Tennis Doubles: A and B levels (“A" if you play outside of camp or have won “B”; “B” if you have very limited experience or haven’t played since camp last year)

• Tennis Over/Under (one partner over 12, one partner 12 or under)

Some favorite social events include:

• GET ACQUAINTED GAMES: Burst out of the starting blocks by meeting and greeting both old and new campers with fun games on the first night.

• SUNDAES ON SUNDAY ICE CREAM SOCIAL : Taking place in front of Pines after the Get Acquainted Games, “Sundaes on Sunday” is a sweet camp tradition.

• ROOT BEER FLOATS: This beloved social will take place in front of the Pines.

• SALMON BAKE ON BEACH: Enjoy barbecued salmon, hot dogs, corn on the cob, and more with views of Hood Canal and the majestic Olympics.

• AULD LANG SYNE BRUNCH AND SPORTS AWARDS : Join us for one last chance to sing-a-song, share a smile, and pass out some final sports ladder awards before leaving camp.

Some daily activities include:

• MEAL TIME SING-A-LONGS: Music plays a special role at camp, and we will follow each meal with a few songs.

• POLAR BEAR SWIM: Join other campers in the Lagoon for an early morning dip/swim

• YOGA: Start your days feeling stretched and strong! Bring your sticky mat (highly preferred) or a blanket/towel.

• CRAFTS: Following lunch daily, these workshops are designed by campers to provide a creative outlet. Over the years they have featured everything from ornament making to screen printing.

• VOLLEYBALL: Tournament that matches house “teams” against each other after lunch.

• LADY IN THE RED HAT: Popular with our youngest campers, children’s books are read out loud.

• PICKLEBALL CLINIC: Learn, play, drill and have fun in the afternoons (also a sports ladder event).

• CAFÉ SEABECK: Open to 18+, this late-night gathering offers campers opportunities to connect over games, music, snacks and friendship.

• TEEN HANGOUT: Teens gather to watch movies, play games, and have refreshments.

These activities take place once during the week's schedule:

• CRIBBAGE CLINIC: Learn to play and score in the fun game of cribbage (also a sports ladder event).

• BUNCO NIGHT: Experience the excitement of this easy-to-learn dice game, perfect for all ages. No

• experience needed -- just bring your luck and a competitive spirit. Don't miss out on the chance to roll the dice and win big!

• VESPERS: Join campers at the Cathedral in the Woods for a special evening of reflection.

• FIRE OF FRIENDSHIP: Campers enjoy music, laughter and reflection with the glow of the campfire under evergreen trees. Ceremony will conclude with placing lighted candles on the lagoon followed by s’mores.

• KIDS’ PARADE: A grand tradition! Kids classes strike up the band and march from Pines to the Inn. ALL CAMP PHOTO follows at Amphitheater.

• READING CLUB: Adults and teens are invited to share a book you’ve recently read.

• BOOK CLUB: Adults and teens are invited to read a specially selected book and come to camp prepared to discuss it.

• RADIO SHOW: Before television existed, families gathered around the radio to listen to shows like Annie and The Lone Ranger. This popular camp tradition features entertaining scripts read by fellow campers. 

• WATERSLIDE: Have FUN in the sun as you “Slip and Slide”! Two age groups: age 12 and under AND over 12s. Typically in the afternoon on one or two days.

• TALENT SHOW: The best of song, skit, comedy, dance and musical performance. Show will be followed by refreshments in Pines. Get signed up to participate!

• SCARY WALK: Organized by our teens for the kids, the scary walk starts when the sky is dark. No parents.

• LAGOON USE: Boating, swimming and fishing are all popular activities at Camp. These activities are typically available after lunch until dinner with specific times for swimming while a lifeguard is present.

• BICYCLES: Adults and kids alike enjoy riding bicycles around the conference center campus.

Classes for kids and teens as well as the adult speaker series take place most mornings:

• KIDS / TEENS CLASSES: Camp offers a variety of fun classes for every age group, from the under 5s to teens, at our camp. These classes are led by dedicated volunteer teachers and supported by enthusiastic parents and guardians.

• ADULT SPEAKER SERIES: While the children and teens are enjoying their classes, we offer entertaining and informative presentations for the adults. These morning sessions feature a variety of speakers who share their expertise and experiences. Campers have presented books they've written, shared stories from their fascinating careers, and led workshops on a wide range of topics, from the constitution to creative writing. Join us for these enriching presentations that provide both inspiration and education!
